A FAMILY ARCHIVE of rare images has come to light showing Rebecca Jane "Jennie" (Minerd) Conley Woodmancy, her husbands, foster daughter and grandchildren. Originally from near Mill Run, Fayette County, PA, Jennie and her first husband John Conley relocated from Pittsburgh to Nebraska and later made their home in Chicago, where in 1900 he worked in a glue factory.

After her husband's death in 1907, Jennie married again to widower and longtime family friend John L. Woodmancy and settled on his farm in Grundy Center, Iowa. She is known to have returned to southwestern Pennsylvania to attend early Minerd reunions of the 1910s, '20s and early '30s. More >>>
