Dear Member,

The nineteenth annual reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh will be held at 808 Magnolia Drive, Seaford, DE, the home of David and Vicky Laughery, on Sunday, August 21, 1983, at 1:00 PM.

Please bring a covered dish, place setting for your family, folding chairs and tables.  There will be lots of good food, games and fun.

Please try to attend this family gathering!

The 19th Annual Reunion was held at the home of David and Vickie Laughery in Seaford, DE. It was a warm, sunny pleasant day. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet. President Irene Vincent welcomed family members & thanked David and Vickie for having the reunion at their home. New officers were elected as follows: 

• President: Gene Passwaters 
• Vice President - Donna Passwaters 
• Secretary-Treasurer - Linda Unruh 
• Game Committee - Loretta Downes

Jeannette Passwaters volunteered her home for the 1984 reunion. The treasury had a balance of $39.62 brought forward from last year.

Old News: 

Rusty Bartholomew was the youngest child & he received a piggy bank. Kathryn Laughery was the oldest & she received a picture album. Harry & Lois Winand were the farthest away & they received a brag book. Kathryn Laughery had the most grandchildren. Vickie Bartholomew was the youngest mother with the most children & she won a picture cube. There was a brief discussion to change the date of the reunion to a Saturday but everyone decided to keep the date same, the third Sunday in August.  Meeting was adjourned.
