Pattern: Bow Tie
Quilter: Alma (Ream) Sands

This colorful full bed sized "Bow Tie" quilt was created in the late 1950s by the late Alma (Ream) Sands of Confluence, PA. She worked on many quilts at that time with the help of her daughter, Doris (Sands) Hawker, our reunion treasurer. Alma's quilts have been passed on to family members who continue to enjoy her many hours of work. The quilt was photographed at the 2005 National Minerd-Minard-Miner-Minor Reunion
