Dear Sister one & all


We recived your long looked for letter yesterday. Was just afful glad too hear from you but sorie too hear you wer not well. We had just about give up all hopes of getting a letter. Well this leaves us all Well and hope you will be better by the time you get this. We are having rather windie weather now. We had sleet and rain the same time that you did. I guess we have had more snow here this winter than you have. for We had about a week of good sleighing. Pa says if thare is any prospect of making an Alince man out of Will that he will continue too send him the papers. thare has got too be a change of guverment and it will haft too come through the people. Pa is feeling pretty well now. he had a bad coald a fiew days ago but is over it now. he is getting fat again. he weight is 218 ½.

Dick was down not long ago and staid a week. he is coming home this summer and work on the Rail Road. Websters wer down a week or too ago & staid 3 nights & 2 days. Robys folks are going too Moove to Medicine Lodge. Well I dont know what Jen is writing but if I write any thing that she does you will know it is not my falt. I do wish you could come down here this spring. Wheat looks fine. thare is thousands of ackers sowed last fall. some are [beginning] to think about sowing oats. thare is going too be lots of Cattle brought in here this summer. I was down too see Blanchie this afternoon. she has had an afful bad cold for a while. but is getting better now. thare is not much sickness here this winter. I can see Ross & Blanchie as thay wer when I left thar but expect I would not know them if I would meet them. Well I will haft too stop for this is all the paper thare is in the house. Now write soon and let us know how you are for I feel uneasy about you. Goodby. write soon.
