This colorful star quilt was fashioned by the late Armena (Cain) Miner-Marshall of Washington, PA and used by the family of her daughter, the late Jessie (Miner) Schultz, also of Washington. Armena had a rule -- her quilts were to be used, not kept as museum pieces. This is a good example of one that has worn well over the years, despite heavy use. It was brought by Jessie's daughter Deanna (Schultz) Meloy to be shown and photographed at the 2005 National Minerd-Minard-Miner-Minor Reunion. Click for next quilt Copyright © 2005 Mark A. Miner.
