dear brother & sister

It is with a sad hart that I seat myself to write to you. and I know i cant write mutch for my mind is so weak thinking about our dear sister that I cant think of enything to write. Dick got your letter yesterday. Was so sory to hear of Helen being so prostrated. Oh helen, try to bare up. I know it is a hard blow. but then it is the lords will. and I am sadsfide that she is happy in that better world. thar was one of the pleasant smile on her countnance that I ever saw. oh you dont know how happy she looked.

I supose you have got Mrs Websters & Lesters letter by this time and thay gave all the particklars. Wear geting Along very well. Jenny is staying with us. Sue has got blanche. Mable is staying at home. oh you dont know how lonsom it is here. it just seems as tho I can not stay here. Poor pa says it just seams as tho he cant stay here. I have been trying to get him and Mable to go up to your place and make you a visit and I belive he will come befor long. he says he wants to go and see you. Hellen, Nettie has a letter partly writen to you. I will send it with this. Nona is so she went to sundy school today. We all went to Robys for diner to day. We could not bare to come home.

Well I will try to finish my letter. we will get done cutting oats tomorrow if it dont rain. We are having a hard time to save our grain on the Acount of rain. Well dick is writing to you. he says he cant hardley bare to write about Nettie. Now Hellen, I aint mutch of a letter writer but I will do the best I can. and write as often as I can. now Hellen dont greave till you make your self sick. but just think it is all for the best and all that is left for us to do is to live in a way that we will meet her in that better world. Well I will close for this time for I am offel tired. Write as soon as you get this for We are ancuis to here from you. This leaves us all well. Ixcept I have a big boil on my foot. write soon.
