Ronald B. Case said the blessing. The food was enjoyed through-out the afternoon with Hamburgers, hot dogs and lots and lots of food and desserts of all kinds. President, Nancy Thompson called the meeting to order. A moment of silence was held in memory of our deceased loved ones. The 1995 minutes were read by Loretta. New officers were elected for 1997:

David & Vicky Laughery extended the invitation to hold the reunion at their home in Seaford, on Aug. 17, 1997. Don Laughery, son of Ray Laughery, shared with us the research on the Laughery family tree he had completed during the past year going back in time to 1754 of Daniel Laughery of Cumberland, Pa. It was most interesting and Don is doing a great research. Perhaps one day we will see it all in book form.

Jerry and Marie introduced a new son: Alexander Nicholas Thompson, born 12/17/95. Sheila Laughery introduced Bridgett Leandra Laughery (note middle name), born?. Lois and Harry Winand traveled from Florida. Susan Powell was in charge of the entertainment. Lots of fun and talking was enjoyed by all.
