The 8th Annual Reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh was held August 20 at the home of Alvin and Nancy Thompson, next to Wheeler’s Park in Harrington.  The day was sunny and hot and the buffet dinner and the homemade ice cream was enjoyed by all.

A business meeting was conducted by our officers.  A nomination was made by Buck Thompson to keep the same officers for next year.  Loretta Downes seconded the motion and the motion was passed.  Also a vote was taken to have next year’s reunion at Art and Kathryn Laughery’s home which everyone agreed to. Thirty-three guests were present and all enjoyed the games which were organized by Jack and Ruth Wilkerson.
