Dear Family Member:
The 16th annual family reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh will be held Sunday, August 17 starting at 1 P.M. The picnic will be held at the home of Robert and Irene Vincent in Harrington.
Please bring a covered dish, your family’s place setting and folding chairs and tables. Also, please bring the most recent picture of each family member. Write your name and the date the picture was taken on the back. These will be added to the family archives.
The directions to Bobby and Irene’s are as follows: Go through traffic light in Harrington going south on Route 13. Proceed south past the fairgrounds. Their house is first one on right after crossroads. Their telephone number is 398-8759 in case you get lost.
Hope to see a good turnout this year as usual. Have a happy, safe summer.

The 16th annual Laughery reunion was held at the hone of Robert and Irene Vincent, of Harrington, on Sunday, August 17th. It was sunny, pleasant afternoon. After the delicious buffet dinner was served the business meeting was opened by President Robert Vincent. It was decided that the reunion will be held next year at the home of Harry and Lois Winand, in Media, Pa. Steve Winand was elected president and JoAnn Moore will remain as secretary-treasurer. The games committee will consist of Rell, Keith and John Winand.
A new addition to the family tree this year was Stephanie Marie Winand, born April 15, 1980 to Steve and Karen Winand. After the business meeting, family pictures were collected for the family archives. Susie and Joey Gray provided the group with an entertaining selection of games and door prizes to keep everyone busy for the rest of the afternoon.
