The 28th annual family reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh was held August 16, 1992 at Killen’s Pond State Park.  It was a rainy day.  Everyone stayed dry under the pavilion with towels being placed on the benches.

The President, Susie Thompson, welcomed everyone to the reunion.  Debbie Webb secretary, read the 1991 minutes and gave the financial report.  There was discussion among the family members on different ways to raise money for the 1993 reunion.  Among the suggestions made were a 50/50 drawing and a white elephant sale.  A 50/50 drawing was held at the 1992 reunion.  Wilma Reams was the winner.  She kindly donated her winnings of $17.00 to the treasury.  Robert Vincent generously donated $25.00 towards the park rental fees for 1993.

• President and Vice President - Susan Thompson and Nancy Thompson
• Secretary/Treasurer - Debbie Webb
• Entertainment - The Winand Family

The annual family dues of $5.00 were collected.  Family group pictures were taken.  Old photographs were provided for viewing.  Keith Winand provided entertainment for the adults and children.  There were two pending marriages:  Susan Thompson and Sam Powell, Keith Winand and Marianne, and one pending birth, Ricky and Julie Yakumowicz.

A motion was made to have the 29th annual reunion of Killen’s Pond State Park.  The motion was seconded and unanimously carried.
