The
twelfth annual reunion of the Harbaugh-Laughery families was held at the home of
Dorothy and Willis Laughery, of near Farmington, Del., on Sunday August 15,
1976. A buffet dinner was served with homemade ice cream and cake.
A business meeting was held with Ronald Case, president conducting the affairs for the family. Sec.-Tres. Nancy Thompson reported on the family tree which was begun last year and now is near completion. The family has been traced back to Germany in 1733 and the tree has been drawn to date.
New officers for 1977 are Loretta Downes, President and JoAnn Moore, Sec-Treas. Rell Winand will be in charge of games.
The meeting was turned over to Steve and Karen Winand for entertainment, with Art Laughery winning the oldest guest at age 77, youngest was Jill Hellein at 5, oldest with own teeth was Dorothy Laughery, and the guest who cane the farthest was Percy Martin from Taylor, Michigan.
