The twenty-first annual reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh will be held at RD 1 Box 46 (next to Wheelers Park)  Harrington, DE., the home of Alvin and Nancy Thompson on Sunday, August 18, 1985 at 1:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish, place setting for your family, folding chairs and tables.  There will be lots of good food, games and fun for everyone.

The 21st annual family reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh was held at the home of Alvin and Nancy Thompson in Harrington, Delaware. Everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch. President, Alvin Thompson welcomed everyone.  Secretary, Linda Unruh, read the minutes from 1984's reunion. Harry and Lois Winand offered their home for the 1986 reunion.

Officers were elected as follows:

• Secretary-Treasurer - JoAnn Moore
• Games - John Winand

JoAnn Moore brought up the fact that November 11, 1989 will be the 100th wedding anniversary of our ancestors, David Leander Laughery and Martha Jane Harbaugh.  It will also be our 25th annual reunion year.  We discussed possible ideas for a special celebration reunion that year.

Door prizes were awarded to Leroy Winand, the oldest at 83, and Eric Unruh, the youngest at 4 months. Debbie Webb kept the children busy for a while with games and prizes. It was a rainy day but Nancy and Buck had plenty of room inside for everyone.
