Sunday, August 20, 1995, the thirty-first (31) annual reunion of the descendants of David Leander Laughery & Martha Jane Harbaugh was held at the Moose home in Harrington, DE. Forty-four (44) attended. A fee of $25.00 was paid to the Moose Home for the use of the new pavilion as arranged by Teresa & Bobby Thompson. Harold Laughery & Sue Baynard brought their sound and music system and there was a lot of singing and dancing. A fun time was had by all and we discovered new singing talent in the family. It was a lovely day and Nancy Thompson welcomed the guests. Ronald Case asked the blessing. The wonderful food prepared by various families was enjoyed by all. There was one lady whom no one recognized. Loretta introduced herself to her and found out the lady was at the wrong reunion. The Cox reunion was being held in the Moose home. A good laugh was had by the Laughery group, but the poor lady was so embarrassed! A business meeting was held. New members were introduced. Jerry Thompson introduced his new wife Marie (Tittaferrante) Thompson. Kasmir Richard Yakimowicz II was the youngest present (7 mo.). New officers were elected:
David & Sharon Laughery had sent the invitation to hold the 1996 reunion at their home in PA (near Bethlehem). A discussion was held and decided to make plans to have it on Sat. at David & Sharon’s and make a long weekend with those staying at nearby motels. The majority voted to go. Nancy and Susan were in charge of the games and along with the singing and dancing a great time was had by all. After the annual dues were collected and the fee of $25 was paid, there is a balance on hand of $ 223.00 Submitted by,
